When you access the Meetix app, your device automatically sends data for technical reasons. This data is stored separately from any other data you may provide to us, including:

3.2. Support Requests

If you contact our support team, we collect and store the personal data you provide to process your request. You are not required to provide personal data and may contact us using a pseudonym. We store support requests for 120 days after completion to ensure that your request has been successfully processed and to assist with any potential future issues. Data processing for support requests is conducted to fulfill your request and ensure the proper operation of the app, pursuant to Article 6(1) point (b) GDPR. For general inquiries, we process data based on our legitimate interest in responding to emails, pursuant to Article 6(1) point (f) GDPR.

3.3. Meetix account and meeting content

To provide the app, we process the data you submit when you use a feature:

Recording uses the microphone only after you grant permission. You should have consent before capturing other people’s conversations. Audio and text you submit are processed to produce transcripts, summaries, and related AI features.

We use “cookies” to provide all the features of the app and enhance user experience. Cookies are small files stored on your device through your browser. If you do not wish to use cookies, you can adjust your browser settings to block them. However, some features of the app may be limited.

5. Data Transfer

5.1. Transfer to Law Enforcement Authorities

In cases where it is necessary to investigate illegal use or for prosecution, personal data will be transferred to law enforcement authorities and potentially harmed third parties if there are specific indications of illegal behavior. We may also provide information to public authorities upon request. This transfer of data is based on our legitimate interest, pursuant to Article 6(1) point (f) GDPR, or on a legal obligation, pursuant to Article 6(1) point (c) GDPR.

5.2. Use of Third-Party Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to deliver our services. In such cases, personal data may be transferred to these providers for processing. We carefully select these partners and ensure they comply with data protection regulations. Data transfers are conducted in accordance with Article 28(1) GDPR or based on our legitimate interest, pursuant to Article 6(1) point (f) GDPR.

Providers include Firebase (sign-in), Apple and Google (sign-in, billing, and ads), and transcription and AI processors that handle audio and text you submit.

You can delete your Meetix account in the app. That removes the Firebase identity and marks your account data deleted.

Meetix is not directed to children under 13 years of age and does not collect information from children under 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

THIS END USER AGREEMENT CONTAINS A LEGALLY BINDING MANDATORY ARBITRATION AND WAIVER OF JURY TRIALS AND CLASS ACTIONS CLAUSE GOVERNING DISPUTES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF MEETIX SERVICES. THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS AS OUTLINED IN SECTION 14 BELOW. PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE SERVICES.

This Meetix End User Agreement (the “Agreement”), including any addenda, order forms, exhibits, schedules, appendices, and amendments thereto, constitutes a legally binding agreement between you (the “User” or “you”) and Meetix and its affiliates (“Meetix,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) governing your access to and use of the Meetix app, website, software, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

If you do not agree with any modifications, your sole remedy is to stop using the Services.

4. Subscription Terms

4.1 Free Trial

You may use Meetix’s trial version for free for up to three days where the store offer includes a trial. To avoid automatic subscription renewal, you must cancel your trial at least 24 hours before it ends. If not canceled, the selected subscription plan (Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly) will automatically begin, and associated fees will be charged.

You are responsible for ensuring the privacy and accessibility of your shared content.

10. Liability Disclaimer

You are solely responsible for securing your data while using Meetix. Meetix is not liable for data loss, damages, or interruptions caused by misuse or technical issues.

11. Privacy

By using Meetix, you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of this Agreement.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meetix shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes will be resolved under the mandatory arbitration clause detailed below.

14. Mandatory Binding Arbitration

Any disputes arising from or relating to this Agreement or the use of the Services must be resolved through binding arbitration. By agreeing to this clause, you waive your rights to a jury trial or to participate in class-action lawsuits.
